Tarzan Trump

IMG_2834

That’s a photo I saw and saved last year.  People come up with the funniest ideas!

To top it off, we must include the unforgettable Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan Yell (which was his real voice)!

Can The Donald do that? 🙂

Can he swing from tree to tree & wrestle with crocodiles in the river?

Naaa, probably not. But he can at least “rescue” Liberty by dampening some of the damage done by the Communists running the country. I just wish he’d stay away from pow-wows with Nazi Criminals like Henry Kissinger … unless he’s practicing the principle of “Keep Your Friends Close but Your Enemies Closer.”

Johnny Weissmuller (1904-1984), the best Tarzan there ever was… Sunday afternoon TV in the 1960s included a Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movie every week (plus Shirley Temple movies, etc.). One of the funniest was when Tarzan visited Trump’s home town, the Big Apple. Here’s the official trailer for that one.

“Tarzan’s New York Adventure Official Trailer #1 – Virginia Grey Movie (1942) HD”:

And some music to go with it: Frank Sinatra’s famous “New York, New York!” in HD, excellent!

Here’s a few comments from the YouTubes about Weissmuller:

–John Molloy: Weissmuller came from a yodeling European culture; he was a champion yodeler as well as a champion swimmer.

–stacy4422: To all the people who say this is not him that does this [Tarzan] call let me say that as a kid in the sixties I was a big Tarzan fan and I got to meet him in Florida (Royal Palm Beach) and I had to wear my lion skin and when he saw me he gave me that call, it took him two or three times to get it right but he would not stop until he did and then wanted to hear mine, and of course with a smile on my face I let it rip.

–ggrimme32068: I was an original cast member at Walt Disney World, working in the Contemporary Resort Hotel in October, 1971, when the big TV spectacular was broadcast on TV. 100’s of movie stars and TV celebrities were invited to the huge party out behind the Hotel when filming was over. The Polynesian Hotel had yet to open, so all the stars stayed in my hotel for all the festivities. I’ll never forget the day that Weissmuller checked in down at the front desk. He had a huge set of golf clubs slung over one shoulder, and I remember thinking, “Damn, Tarzan plays golf!” I also met Weissmuller many years before that in Miami, probably 1953 or 1954, back when he was on TV as Jungle Jim. He autographed a B&W photo for me of himself and his chimp. Both were unforgettable moments for me. Weissmuller was a really nice guy, and I enjoyed chatting with him as an adult at Disney World.

One very funny one:

“Weissmuller had a close call in Cuba during the time of the Cuban Revolution. While playing golf, he and his friends found themselves suddenly surrounded by a group of Fidel Castro’s soldiers intent on kidnapping them, or worse. Thinking fast, Weissmuller immediately gave his trademark Tarzan yell. The soldiers immediately recognized it and were so delighted to meet Tarzan that they began to clap and escorted the group back to a safe area, where Weissmuller was presented a $100 bill.”

Maybe Mr. Trump SHOULD learn the Tarzan Yell.  It might come in handy some day, haha!  😀
